Gerber's death certificate, obtained by TMZ, indicates that he was cremated and that the cause of death remains under investigation. He died on September 20 at a rehabilitation facility in Santa Monica, California, in what is believed to have been an accidental overdose.

According to the outlet, Gerber's ashes are expected to be kept at his parents' residence in Malibu. The family is reportedly planning a funeral service to take place within the coming week.

A representative for the Crawford-Gerber family previously asked for privacy following Presley's death, describing it as an extremely difficult and painful period, Entertainment Weekly reported.

Presley followed in his mother's footsteps as a model, signing with agency IMG at age 15. He went on to work with major fashion labels including Tommy Hilfiger and Dolce & Gabbana. His younger sister, Kaia Gerber, has also built a career in modeling and acting, appearing in the series The Shards.
